A description of the TV show Top Gear.

Top Gear originally started in 1977 as a straightforward magazine programme featuring an eclectic range of presenters, a number of which went on to present the Channel 5 TV show 'Fifth Gear'. In 2002 the iconic show was altered to be studio based whilst placing more of an emphasis on the program's unique humour and the personalities of presenters James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. One of the most popular features of the show is the unusual tests they perform on the vehicles, like the famous Top Gear review of the Toyota Hilux. Tests included smashing the car into a tree and hitting it with a wrecking ball. Top Gear is a must see for any true fan of motoring.
